Hello People,

Does this sound like a good idea. As the Motorcycle Classes are full untill Sept. I have to wait to get my liecinse, I am thinking i should Save money untill then Which should give me close to being able to pay cash or the bike. Or should i buy the bike now, I have propert there is a dirt Circle that i can pratice riding on my own property untill the class.

Thanks In advance

You can't even get a permit without the class? in indiana you take a written test to get a permit that is good for one year. You must wear a helmet, you can't ride at night or 2-up. But that's it. You can still ride.

That was my understanding let me check the DMV site again.

Edit.. Ok you can get the permit but to ride you must have an "expiranced rider supervising at all times... Any offers????

Save your money and pay cash. Insurance will be cheaper if you own the vehicle, and dont owe any money on it.

I thought it sounded funny that you needed supervision for a motorcycle permit, but I checked Virginia's DMV, and sure enough! That sucks!!

Only restriction in florida is you cant have a passenger...

As a business owner and a former financial advisor I can tell you your question is a no brainer. If you have the option to pay cash for something rather than finance it you definitely should go that way.

You may try getting onto a class as a walk in. Show up an hour early and tell the instructor you would like to be in the class. If someone that is registered does not show up they allow walk ins to take the spot. May be a way to get in much sooner. We had four walk ins in my class get spots.
