CA Superbike School....Anyone here been to this?

Hi All,
I'm brand new to this forum, and just returning to riding after a LONG hiatus. Long enough that I feel awkward all over again. I just picked up a simple little used Honda 250cc Nighthawk for the first season (as in I haven't even gotten the darn thing home yet!). Once I've re-figured it all out, I'll decide what I want for my permanent bike.
I'm also a road racer (cars) and have seen first hand about how much car control I learned from my schools and subsequent races.
Which brings me to my question. Last time I was at Pocono Raceway, I saw the CA Superbike School was there. I looked them up this morning, and I see they are coming to NHIS in August. It looks like they emphasis bike control more so than racing. I'm finding myself thinking about doing a one day when they come to NH, not so much to race (I'm too old to be starting that!!! :( ) but for the confidence and skills in better cornering, reactions, etc. I know that road racing has helped me a lot on the streets, and has saved my butt a time or two.
So...have any of you taken their course? Or any other performance course like this? Pros? Cons? Are they any good? I was thinking I'd sign up to use their equipment and safety gear, etc. (rather than showing up on my little putt-putt....hey I could bring the Vespa scooter with me! THAT would impress them for sure!!! :P )
Any input on them would be appreciated!

I've wanted to go to the CA superbike school for some time now. Unfortunately it's a little too expensive for my current financial situation.
But, if you've got the money, and are willing to work hard at learning what they teach, go for it.

here's their website... http://www.superbikeschool.com/

if you want to do trackdays for a cheaper price, use this... http://www.trackxperience.com/index.html

keith codes teaches you on ZX-6Rs but it's too expensive.

the 2nd one is great but you have to use your own bike, which is pretty understandable since the price is low. i wanna use that school in the future.

Well, I guess I look at it this way. The 3 day Skip Barber Racing School was around $3k when I did it. Big gulp. But it ended up being worth it's weight on gold. I started racing and found myself a lot more advanced than the other beginning students because I had been given 3 solid days of racecraft before ever doing the club racing school.
With this one, OK, it's $600. That is a lot of money. But seriously, the skin on my body is worth WAY more than that, and if they teach performance riding, and if I use it to keep my sorry old butt out from under the grill of someone's SUV, well then it was worth it, right?
What I want is the advanced training of cornering, panic braking, skid control, evasive riding, and just generally being able to instinctively do the right moves to get out of trouble.
Oh, and being able to go fast will be an added bonus....
Track time anywhere and on/in anything is pretty pricey, so the price isn't scaring me off. I just want to know if anyone has first hand experience, and if they are worth it, or if there's someone else out there who is better.
