i dont remember reading anything about it anywhere and wouldlike to know. sometimes when traffic isnt moving and its raining i would like to be able to just cut down the middle...not fast though, safety before speed.

They are working to make it legal in Texas and a few other places... but right now it is still illegal everywhere but here.

Call your state representatives and ask them to change the law. Lane splitting is a lot safer than trying to crawl along with gridlocked traffic... and the fact that it is illegal where you are makes it more dangerous here because Ohio drivers come to California and think lane sharing is evil and try to cut us off.

Do it... do it now!

Haha, awesome Dieziege.

California is the only place in the US that it's legal I believe.

sucks though that the emissions laws are more strict here but lane splitting is more important.

I'm not sure. According to this: http://www.capitol.state.tx.us/tlo/repo ... R/C420.HTM, the last action was "02/28/2005 H Referred to Law Enforcement" ... I don't know what that means nor how long it takes nor if it is evidence that it is a dead issue.

I was pretty sure that thats how it is, but i thought that i would ask and be sure. today traffic was totally stopped. i waited about five minutes and then i just said "fudge it" and took off. i was only doing like 15, but only one person got mad enough to honk. i think he was just jealous.
