and also, think they're broken in enough?

i don't feel like i've been leaning more, so i was wondering if it's just dirt.

these pics were taken after 140 miles.

i don't really care if i have chicken strips. i'll only be worried about it if im already doing trackdays.

im just asking since i wanna track my progress.

I see a lot of little rubber hairs on those tires.

Fine, because of the vast differences in tires, it's impossible to tell from two silly pics of an unclean tire. You might be leaning over to 70 degrees, or you might be seconds from scraping the pegs. There isn't much to go on there.

If you're that concerned about tracking your "improvement" then perhaps have a friend photograph you, or tape you in a turn.

Though I feel inclined to point out that merely acheiving a heartstopping lean angle does not make you a good rider. It simply proves that you're willing to tip your bike.

thanks sev!

i got your point.

i know very well that how far you can lean doesn't dictate how good of a rider you are.

when i said progress, i didn't mean it as a whole.

i was actually planning on having someone follow me in a car and video my ride so that i can post it and ask for some inputs on how i can be better. but no luck yet.

also since i can't see myself, i might be able to learn too from watching myself ride.

Its not that they need to be broken in more, they just need to be riden on period. they are broken in, now use them!
