I am now the proud owner of a 1996 Suzuki Bandit 600S.

Picked up the bike this morning. It rides wonderfully, so much smoother than the CX500 that it replaced.

Was an "interesting" trip home. Not 5 miles from where I picked up the bike I picked up a nail in the back tire, so I got to replace the barely scrubbed in BT45 with a shiny new Metzler M1.

This thing is so much faster than my old honda its riduculous, its faster at 1/2 throttle than my CX500 was going all out. Im glad I did not get a 600 for my first bike, you have to be a lot more careful with the throttle and clutch at low speeds with the bandit.

Suprisingly I find this bike to be much more comfortable than my first bike, I did 100 miles on the interstate today and my hands and feet didn't even go numb. At 80mph this bike has virtually zero vibration.

Congrats! The Bandit six double ought is a great all arounder. You'll have many happy miles on that, I predict!

Well done!
I am glad you went with the Bandit as I know first hand that they are a great all-round bike. Don't be shy with the camera now...

That sux about the nail. Look at it this way, any chicken strips on these new tires can only be caused by you. Just kidding. I’ve never ridden a Bandit, but I always thought they looked really sharp. Happy bike day!

Nice dude! I've always been a fan of the Bandits. I saw a niiiiice 1200 Bandit at the local dealership, it was clean enough to eat off of, and felt very solid.

I'd ride one ;)
