I'm just introducing myself to the forum here. I'm living in Sunny Southern California on MCAS Miramar. I just bought the biggest beater of a bike about a week ago, and so far I'm having a blast. No previous riding experience, so I'm gonna be going to the courses here in about two weeks.
Oh yeah, it's a 1994 Suzuki Katana, Red with little streaks of Concrete. Great color :D

Edit: LoL, I just read the new rider and the 600cc bikes, over in the new bikers forum. I'm gonna die :P

anybody can die on any bike. it's just more risky to learn on a powerful bike.

anyway... welcome and congrats to you.

good luck w/ the MSF. :D

Congrats and welcome. The katana probably isn't too bad for a learner bike I wouldn't think, it's not terribly fast I don't think, not real touchy.

It's definitely heavy I know, something like 400-450 pounds. Fun so far :)
