chrome plating?

where can i get some chrome plating done that would have good shippping or in pittsburgh?

is it possible to redo chrome myself in any way, just to look decent?

Hey,
Im in Pittsburgh. You're best bet would be to ask one of the many fabrication shops around there... Atomatic is a good start. I'll keep ya posted. BTW, do you ride often?

There's probably a chrome plater in a metropolitan center like Pittsburgh. Check your yellow pages!!

In order to redo chrome, you'd have to strip the old chrome off. All of this requires nasty chemicals that aren't exactly available w/o a license (go EPA).

I would also be hesitant to rechrome anything that's structural on the bike. If it's just a show piece go for it. Chroming weakens metal.
