Importing an Track Bike

HI, New to the forum, long story short, insurance and time have really cut down on my riding time < VTR1000 atm (Great Bike btw).
Anyone know anything about importing a bike not available in Canada?
The Issue
1) Want the new RS 125 for track days only!
2) Not sold in Canada, National Port authourity says that you can import a bike for track use BUT, is has to be a track bike as sold from the company. So no lights and signals ect. basically so you cant take it on the road, stupid i know.
3) I will and have done track days with the VTR but i feel the rewards and future learning on a 125 is superior, having also done a day on a TZ.
Any ideas/ useful input is appreacitated.

the RS 125R is not cheap.
and w/ all the tarriffs and shipping you have to pay... you could easily be paying twice the value of the bike.
but if money is of no object to you... then try to contact dealers in europe and see if they can work w/ you.
if you do go on w/ this... i hate j00!
just kidding
i'll just be xtremely jealous. i love the 06 RS125 R.

can you get the TZ125 in canada? That might be cheaper than the Aprillia.
You might also look into finding a Honda NSR250. It was a 250cc 2 stroke sportbike that honda made from the mid 80s until the mid 90s. Few made it to the US, but I would guess that more made it to canada. they are very popular as trackbikes.
all else fails SV650 trackbikes are very common and pretty reasonable.

i haven't seen any NSR250s lately...
i think they only make the NSR50s. there was one at the dealer where i bought my 750.

I saw an NSR250 on Craigslist a few weeks ago. Guy wanted $4000 for it though.
Ahh, here it is:

Beware though, those 2 strokes are crazy. Once you hit that powerband you'd better hold on tight!

the NSR250 has never been sold in the US. Only gray market imports have made it here.
It is actually still made, the current version looks like a 3/4 scale RC51 but with 2 stroke expansion chambers peeking out from the right side of the lowers.
Its a 250 with around 50hp and weighs less than 300lbs
I think Austrailia and Japan are the only places its still sold.
BTW it is a street bike, though a fully track prepped version is available through HRC (even in the US)
