I agree on all counts! They are sharp looking bikes, very aggressive stance. Most people either love or hate the look, it's very unique. The stock muffler on the max is, to my ear, the best, meanest sounding bike out there. They also like to spend a lot of time at the gas pump.
I just sold mine recently.

Pure muscle bike. I love the look, and the stones, but once I sat on one, the affair was over. Just an uncomfortable riding position for me.

The v-max is pretty rad... I got to ride one last week (my uncle has one)... it feels "mean". The only thing that turns me off is the fake air scoops.

Same here.. it was just a little too compact feeling for me, and my legs felt like they were sitting too high
Before that, I wanted to get one.

Cool looking bike... sat on it at the dealer.... Although it was very uncomfortable to sit on....
And from the mixed reviews I have read.. I am concerned about its cornering ability
