Honda CB750K-7

#1 Unread post by smp4616 »

I just bought a cb750, and have been doing some overhauling, the last project was a carb rebuild; I've got the carbs back on the bike and it has a really hard time starting now, though it runs fine otherwise, another thing related to this is the idle speed seems to climb higher the longer I run the bike. I synchronized the carbs, but I can't find a shop tachometer to do the idle circuit adjustment, any suggestions as to what this problem is caused by?

Are you running it with the airbox on or off? IF off, try re-installing it to see if that cures it. If on, sounds like an air leak. How are your manifolds?
