brake pedal

My bike is overall very comfy, but for long rides it starts to actually to strain my body a bit. My right foot suffers the most as I keep it suspended over the brake pedal. While most of my muscles can be relatively relaxed while riding, there is really no comfortable position for the right foot. How do you guys deal with it?

What would be really kool is if there was a way to change the angle of the brake pedal so that my foot would rest easily on the footpeg.

It should be a fairly simple job to adjust your rear brake pedal. What kind of bike is this, and is it drum or disc rear?

On my bike, the brake pedal is adjusted with a little bit of "slop" so you don't inadvertantly apply the brakes. Maybe your pedal needs adjustment and in that case, RTFM

why do you leave your foot over the rear brake all the time?

Mine gets tired if I keep it there, so I don't keep it there.

yeah, as soon as i learned it was the best way... i ride all the time like the pic above instead of the one below.

to ride but mostly to turn.

either way... i only move my feet forward when im shifting or braking. otherwise, even when im going straight... i always position my feet like that pic above.

Adjust your foot position Ninja.

I cover the brake in town and around traffic, but once I get away from it all I move my foot back on the peg. When I encounter traffic, or oher situations where I want the brake covered, I move my foot to cover the brake again.

The position of your brake can be *adjusted*, but its better to adjust your riding style.
