Hello from Florida

Hello All,
Never know how to begin these blogs I guess telling you about my passion is a good start.
Like most here I love riding, and I do alot of it. Living in Florida I ride year round and although I have a cage, 2 wheels is my preference. I wear my miles as a badge of honor thus proving to you all I am a nerd.
Safety is one of my biggest concerns, I hate hearing about crashes that could have been avoided.
Maintenance is another one of my peeves. I do most of my own work and feel confident of what I know although I may not fully understand why.
Last well I'm long winded so don't expect a short reply.

Sorry bout the 2 posts just wanted to make sure the pics posted.
I'm know as a rider, I don't really enjoy going fast as much as I do going far.
This bike is one of the smoothest motorcycle engines out there period. I rode a little over 3000 miles in 3.5 days and my hand went numb none. No kidding Power is there any gear and any speed "getty-up". Braking is excellent but the way this puppy handles is what makes it a keeper. My VFR does not handle as well as the ZX.
Note I have the centerstand, because I ride far maintenance has to be done on the road.
Small -'s heat that comes off this engine is pretty bad above 85 degree F. And rear brake is like a block of wood.
