progressive didn't give me a good rate.

AAA gave me a good one.

dairyland is supposedly cheap they say but they don't cover bike insurance here in CA.

I have indiana state farm. To bad it isn't national. I pay $185 a year for my rebel and $280 for my S50. Full coverage, towing, the whole works. i ride all year (except when there is ice on the road) so it's a good deal for me. I'm 48 with a clean record.

it all varies, shop around. what will help is if you have multiple things to insure, i have my house, truck, car, and motorcycle all with the same agent, the multiple discounts really add up, only $100 more a year when i added the VTX

you get what you pay for, take State Farm, the rates may be low, but when it comes to collect and file a claim on ur insurance they will come up short. its not a bargain when you pay a Lawyer $1000 to collect from ur insurance co
