I recently purchased a new set of michelin pilot powers: 120/60 front and 190/50 rear for my r6. The rear was a step up from the 180/55 that comes stock. After going on a few rides with my new tires i loved how they felt but i noticed that sometimes when the bike was leaned over to the extreme of what my previous tires could take the front wheel felt a little jittery. After examining the tires i noticed that the front tire is worn to the edge while the rear tire still has 1/4" to 3/8" on each side that hasnt touched the road. My dad has a pair of pilot powers on his r1 that are 190/50 rear but the front is a 120/70. He doesnt seem to have this problem and i was wondering if getting a 120/70 would fix the problem.
