Naked Bikes (Street FIghters, whatever)

I am on a 2006 Suz GS500F, and since it is American it has the fairing I'm not really fond on. I like the naked lookds of the ones they sell in UK/Europe still. I was thinking about getting some more practice and trading for an sv650 (plus cash already unless it's used). I can get an sv650 brand new for around $5400 . Evemtually I would like to g et a speed triple.
DOes this seem like a good choice of quality "standard" bikes? I have a Triumph dealer not too far from me. I was looking at Daytona 675's but I think I would get a lot more value out of the speed triple.
OK, rant off. Any questions?

I am in love with the new Speed Triple.
If I was you I would avoid buying a new SV and save the $$ for the speedy.

I think you would like the SV. Its gonna be a decent upgrade from your GS500 and is a great bike to learn to ride fast on. The speed triple is a beast, an absolutely massive jump up from a 500.
BTW the GS500 itself is a decent bike to hit the twisties on. I know a guy on another forum that can easily get his knee down on his GS500.

here is a pic of that GS500 rider I mentioned.
as for the duct tape on his knee. he had the fun experience of getting a knee down in jeans the day before, so he made a set of knee sliders out of duct tape and soda bottles. And yes he was riding at deals gap
