2003 Suzuki GSX 600R Price check

#1 Unread post by xkon »

I have a neighbor that has this bike, white and blue, with only 1200 miles on it. He is selling it because he doesnt have time to ride it. He has $5,400 left to pay it off and thats what he is looking to get for it. However there is another guy interested in it.
Basically what I want to know is, if 5400 is a good price and how much do they usually run with that little miles? I might have to throw a few more hundred or so to get the bike before the other guy. Thanks a lot.

Is this your first bike? If so I'd steer clear! Too much power...

I paid 5 grand for my 2003 Yamaha R6 and she had 7,000 miles. Have you inspected the bike? Does he maintain it? It sounds like a decent price considering the mileage. It wont last too long especially considering the time of year he is sellin it.

not sure about your particular situation or what kind of guy your neighbour is but if you do get this bike, make sure you are either assuming the financing, or paying it off and getting the title free and clear.

if you pay him directly he may just bank the money and you might be stuck with a nice lien on this bike
