Coolant level?

I can't seem to find anywhere on my old bike that shows the coolant level. The cap where you pour coolant in isn't clear and doesn't even have upper or lower limits. It just has two hoses leading out. I can't seem to find any bubbles or dipsticks where I can check my coolant level. Should I fill it up to near the top (obviously not topping it off). How much water do I add?

This is what I do for my ride: the main coolant tank I fill till it reaches a half inch from the top. Then there's the reserve tank that I fill slowly until some coolant drips into a drop pan.
your bike may be different config tho.

The only problem with filling your reservoir tank all the way is that when the bike gets hot and bleds coolant over to the reservoir, it has no where to go so it pours out of the overflow tube. This can get dicey if the coolant gets on the rear tire.
What bike are you talking about Guru? I would like to think that the Kawi or the Suzi would have better markings on the reservoir bottle.
Off subject, Guitar Guru, what axes do you play?
I've got a Jackson (PS4, maybe?) a Wasburn Dimebag Darrel (the cheapo model, because it is a p.o.s.) some Greg Bennett Design Hollow Body (it has an "S" on the head, Sampson, something. Rainy days and the booze killin' me

) an Ibanez acoustic and my first guitar which is a Kramer...poor thing is unplayable now...the neck is all out of whack.
Been playing for several years but am not very good. No formal instruction. I figure if I can't play them, what's the harm in collecting?
