Was passing a really slow cager today(was driving in the fast lane) and I guess I overrevved the motor. Actually I think I red lined it. But hey I red lined it before and nothing happened. Today fourth gear blew on me. The other gears are fine and sometimes if I don't go over about 3oo0 rpms in fourth it will hold. Increase the revs and 4th grinds and pops out of gear.

Any ideas.
Sorry got to go wifes car just died in flames(well at least smoking) on the highway. What did I do to the Gods to deserve this.

If the gear is popping out under load, that probably means that the dog for that gear is worn, or the dog lever is bent, so that it has enough travel to pop out.
Unfortunately, if this is the case, you are looking at a gearbox strip, and that might mean a full engine strip. It all depends on your bike, you might get away with dropping the bottom of the engine, but either way its going to have to come out of the frame...
If thats not on the cards for you at the moment, you will just have to drive without fourth gear.
Good luck with it!!!
