I bought a new pair of beautiful slant saddlebags for my bike from a local leather shop, they are made of American buffalo leather, black, soft and supple with zip off feature so you can take them off the bike easily. So, I get them home and start to install them on my bike, and on the tag in fine print it says: American buffalo leather...assembled in China !! What the F--k !!! Now I'm thinking, I have a bike and helmet made in Japan, A leather riders jacket made in England, my sneakers and baseball hat no doubt are made in Tiwan. Ain't nothing sacred ?? I know my kids are made in America, but that's all I'm sure of !!

Unfortunately had they been assembled in the good ole' USA you would have ended up paying double or triple what you originally paid .
That's the facts of life my friend .

Welcome to capitalism and the world economy. I see nothing wrong with it.

it's an
urban legend , but there was a story about a town in Japan called Usa, so they could put Made in USA on the tags ...just be glad you bought it locally, so at least someone in your city/county/state made some money on the transaction.

Check the bottom of your kids' feet--that's where the "made in China" logo usually is.......

They start at the tail and move forward.
