Wasn't sure where best to post this.. I know I'm not around much of late.. but look.. I've got a new toy!
Ooh I love this bike. Getting some backache but am sure my back will get used to it..
Its a 1992 bike and had been sat in a shed for eight months.. gathering some serious cobwebs

Had to give her some real TLC.. oil and filter, coolant, air filter, brake pads and fluid, fork seals and fluid.. Sorted out a new can too (home-made from another can, which had been down the road..! Not cut and welded by me though

) - as the one that was on was shocking! Resprayed most of the fairing. Got a gold chain and sprocket set coming, and need to source some brake discs for the front.
But look! What a lovely little bike. And I can say she is unrestricted, although not sure what top speed is.. needle has been off the speedo, but without redlining yet..!

Henriettaah, It's good to see you back and with a new toy!!! I was wondering how long it would take for you to upgrade. I also missed your posts about the work on your first bike. Did you trade up or do you still have "Elsie"??? I love the new ride, and it's good to see that you're over your inhibition about posting a decent sized picture of yourself. You're too cute to be hiding in a tiny pic, lol. How does the "little guy" like the new bike?

that's a nice looking bike, that riding position will take some getting used to. I'm still getting used to leaning forward on my supersport, compared to the moped seating of my previous bike
would look pretty mean w/o the fairing if i were to have my way with it.

Elsie got sold for the grand sum of £550 about 25 miles south of here - she got taken there for a last thrashing and drank the last drop of fuel

But, I did get 85mph out of her on the way there
My little guy does like the new bike, he's not been up the road on the back yet though

Here's a picture of him!

Not that I'm one to talk, but any exercise that increases core and lower back strength will help with your pain. I should be following my own advise on the exercise thing...
Maybe if I relocate some of the excess...
I can get back to one of my favourite highschool pastimes...
But then on second thought, maybe not...
