Happy Bike Day

#1 Unread post by m1a1dvr »

Well I got a bike today. I found a Suzuki GS500F and fell in love with it. Although I did not get the one that I wanted. I read the thread about the 600 sportbikes and that drastically changed my mind. I will say that riding on the road is so much fun. I was having a ball riding around the trailer park next to our buisness building. I would like to get out into traffic tomorrow. The weather is calling for rain the rest of this week so I dont think that will happen. But I am keeping my fingers crossed. I just want to say thanks to all of you that discouraged me from getting a rocket. I have a funny feeling that I would be dead in a few weeks with one of them.

Congrats on the new ride; we are all pic junkies here, so you’ll have to post some. It sounds like you made the best bike choice for you, which is the most important thing you can do. I have seen a few riders start out on a 600 rocket just to end up crashing and giving up on motorcycling all together. The 600 rockets of today are no joke, they definitely have some balls. I’ll send you some of this f%&king hot weather from the Caribbean if you’ll send me some of that rain. I walk out to start my Jeep at 7:30am and it’s already pushing 90 degrees here.

Cheers!

Yep this rain is killing me. I only got to ride for a half an hour tonight before it started to pour. Im glad i just made it in to the garage before it started. I have heard that it is supposed to quit here after noon. So I am going to try to get out again tomorrow.

We need pictures. They're like motorcycle popcorn. You feel guilty for looking at other bikes but they're so damn sexy...
Have fun on the open /¦\
