to be fair they were listed as "too cool" beginner bikes not "the best" beginner bikes.

They're 125cc two strokes mostly designed and built for track use. What makes them beginner bikes?

uhhh they only have 33hp?
way lower than the 50-60hp limit people here allow for beginner bikes.

I doubt they have user friendly throttle response and braking.
A 33hp two stroke and a 33hp four stroke are very different machines don't forget.

hm.. you forgot to add Honda NSR 125

but Honda don't make it anymore(since 2003)
seems like aprilia rs125 is not good bike after all
all the people says: 'Yes it is very fast for 125cc but it is very expencive toy'
always some problems and expencive parts....
also I heard that Cagiva Mito has some bugs....
