Been looking at these and noticed that they seem to be made only for American made v-twins but I was wondering if anyone here knows if they would work on a metric with fuel injection...

They'll work. They just carry the current of the HT Lead. They probably don't have much resistance (if any) so there should be nothign stoppingyou from using them - except maybe the shape of the V on your engine.

Do you really want thin glass tubes on such an exposed area of your bike?

They're also geared towards the custom cruiser market ... seem pretty expensive to me. Might want to check for lower-priced alternatives? (Less you git the dough to spend  )

The company sells in-line screw-on splices for $15 each that can be easily carried in a tool pouch and installed in 5 minutes or less to get you where you need to go in case of breakage. I'm hoping to get my bike in a few shows yet this summer and I thought this would be a neat investment.

Not yet. I first wanted to see if there would be responses from other customers. That way I could have some relevent questions pertaining to customer real-world situations and feedback that might be helpful to know ahead of time. Also, they are trying to sell a product and I have a hard time believing any manufacturer 100%. School of life type of stuff - you know. And since I've never purchased from this company before...

What about these? http://www.xtremelightsinc.com/undercar2.html Apparently they mount under the gas tank and shine down.

Cheers,
