I am looking into getting a new Victory Hammer as I have heard great things about this bike. I am just wondering what everybody's opinions are about this bike an/or Victory Motorcycles in general.

Thanks

I've ridden with a couple of guys that rode Victorys. I love how clean the lines are. They're fast...esp. the Hammer. The Vegas is no slouch either. Stock pipes are nice and throaty without getting crazy loud like Screaming Eagles on Harleys.

I think Victorys are a great alternative to Harleys. They've done extremely well competitively in the snowmobile market, so I really like their background in performance oriented products. If they had a liquid cooled bike, I'd be all over one.

they look pretty darn good to me, the only issue you might have is finding a dealer/service in your area, but that's about the only bad thing i have heard about them

I've never rode one, but they look pretty sweet. I think they let you take test rides too. At least on their website they give you the option to schedule one right on the front page.

Funny thing is, I've been at my current job for 4 years. I just noticed last week that there is a Victory dealer a block down the street from my office. Duh!

I'd actually get a Victory over a HD any day of the week. I think the styling on the Victory bikes are just more modern.

I'd get the Hammer if I were you. I'm somewhat biased, though. I'm a big fan of the Victory line.

You think the screamin eagles pipes are loud? Wow...I thought mine were to quite on the previous HD I had.

Victory=Polaris
Polaris=God
Therefore
Victory=Jesus?

I love them and I am not really into the cruisers. Plus I read a few articles and talked to the Victory guys and their bikes have a ~97% reliability rating.

The 8-Ball and the Kingpin are the shiznit! I wouldn't hesitate to buy one.
