Thank God for high Gas prices I work 90 miles from home and finally after gas hit 3.30 a gallon, my wife told me to buy a bike. I had to give up my three bikes when I married her six years ago. Before she had finished her statement, the ink was drying on a sales contract for a VT1100. Now going to work and comming home is the higlight of my day.

My name is paul, have had bikes for 20 years until i got married in 2000and moved to SoCal. Its been driving me nuts seeing all these bikes go by me and now i can drive someone else nuts. Looking forward to chatting with all of you and maybe even riding with a few.

P.S With only 100 miles on my bike, i ran the Ortega Highway. What a ride!

Thanks. I moved from the snowy north east and only had a five month ( on a good year) riding season. I am now in heaven being able to ride all year around and in such a beatiful area. How do i do the picture thing, as you can see I tried?

I have not figured out how to do the pic thing yet, i did follow th instructions but no luck for some reason.

And yes, I didnt realise how much i missed the experience and the culture of biking. Looking forward to getting invovled in some charity rides again in the future too. They were always a blast.

OK I removed the slash, still no good, but when i go to uload the image of my bike to the website listed to do so on, i continually get the "page can can not be displyed" after i choose host it. My pic is certianly under the 650k limit so i must be doing something fundamentally wrong. I will figure it out and then be able to show my new beauty to all.

Thanks for the help.
