VTX1300 reliability

How reliable is the VTX? I've seen a lot of comments on the bike but not much on how reliable it is. I won't bore you with the details unless you ask, but I'll probably only have the bike for 6 months to a year, then trade it up for something else (or decide I don't want a bike and sell it). How much trouble/maintainence can I expect in that period of time?

Are you talking new or used? My brother has had a VTX for about a year and it's given him no trouble, he bought it new. Another friend of mine also has a VTX, its a little older and also no problems.

Sorry, I had that then edited it out for length. It is used with only 1,300 miles. It is a 2004. They are selling it for $6,400.

Honda's reputation is pretty solid - thats why I bought the bike. I love my VTX 1300. :scooter: Over 1000 miles and no problems so far.
