Suzuki M50
Suzuki M50
I went with my instincts and bought the M50. I just took it for a ride around the block and it was awesome. It actually was such a thrill. I couldn't believe the difference in power from the training bikes at the MSF to this. I can't wait to take it to a big parking lot tomorrow and get acquainted to her! Any tips?

Take it easy on the turns at first. I hear there is still a coating on the tires to protect them during shipping. The coating needs to be worn off and until then it'll be a little slick.
Follow the break in procedures. Take it slow at first and you should be ok.
Have fun on the new bike and get us some pics...

Wow thats great!!!!! I am meant to be buying a new M50 on Monday. I was meant to buy it today but the bank messed up my depsoit.
Hopefully Monday is the day but if not then next weekend! What color did you get? I am looking at the grey/silver one.
The 2007 M50 silver one has some little flames but i am not waiting for that. Also i see the 2007 has a fuel gauge on it but thats no big deal either.
Keep me updated on your use of it.

give the tires a chance to break in, it may handle rough on the tight turns because of the new tires, and its normal for the exhaust to smell when its new, you may see a little white smoke from the exhaust thats normal, it will go away, the suspension will feel very stiff but once that breaks in it will smooth out. This bike will get better the more it breaks in, make sure you check ur tire pressure, the stock IRC Tires are not the greatest, my M50 turned into a differnt bike after I replaced the stock tires and I had to learn how to ride it all over again. The stock IRC tires work but give these tires a chance to break in before you scrape the footpegs on the curves.

Here in Mexico the price is 94,900 pesos, about $ 8,630 usd for the M50 black 2007 including tax. This is $ 2,500 more bucks than in USA, because they imported from there. There is only one Suzuki dealer in my state, so I cant check with others, but in the official site of Suzuki in Mexico, this is the MSRPMotoF150 wrote:I just wondered what you guys paid for ur M50? a dealer here is selling the new 2006 M and C 50s for $5499, Track n Trail Inc, State College PA, 800-585-9200 or www.trackntrail.net
