Katakana and Hiragana are easy to pick up, we learned those on our own with flashcards. But yea, Kanji is very, uh wow. Over 2000 kanji in regular use, many using a combination of 20 strokes... :shock:

Best way to learn to speak JPN is to well, speak JPN and just be around JPN speakers. You can pick up words and phrases much easier than reading (in most cases). I can read ad write kata- and hira-, my deficiency is knowing the translation of the words (if it isn't similar to english words), and I stumble on Kanji. I hit that, and its literally a stop sign :laughing:

Thanks for the good wishes, Shorts. We already done some fire works in Sweetwater, Sunday and will do some at home tomorrow night. Thanks again from Texas.

yeah, i knew what it was.

i wanna learn JP for videogames. some good games never reach US soil, so i just import some of them. my favorite video game series of all time is JP only. it's Super Robot Taisen.
