Feel free to add your own "Tech Secrets"
I'll start -
An easy way to keep brake fluid off your gas tank is to use one of those chintzy toilet rugs that goes on the floor in front of the toilet. The two little 'arms' wrap around the steering head nicely, and the tacky rubber bottom keeps it stationary.

A small mirror on a swivel-head and telescoping handle can give you a look at your oil level while seated on the bike. These are available at auto supply stores and usually come with a handy magnet on a similar handle and swivel. That comes in handy, too.

Works even better if the mirror is lighted.....garages can be dark sometimes.

Great idea! I've hated the little inspection windows since I bought my 82 Kaw 750....can't check it on the centerstand like I can with my 78 Suzuki...and I overfilled it the first time I changed oil. Thanks for the tip!
