This coming Sunday, July 9th is the next Super Sunday at Marcus Dairy in Danbury, Connecticut. Rain or shine event that’s brought in thousands of bikes in each of the past few years. According to the website under the “History” section, At the latest event, April 22, 2001 there were over 140 vendors, 70 bikes entered in the bike show and about 15,000 motorcyclists. And still on any decent Sunday you will find 500-1000 bikers at Marcus Dairy for breakfast and camaraderie.

The Dairy fills up FAST and early, so plan to get there in the am. So many bikes show now that people have to start parking at the mall across the street and even that lot is beginning to get filled up.

All kinds of bikes in attendance. Website pics usually favor cruisers, but they’re definitely a ton of sportbikes, standards, and even dirtbikes.

Bunch of NY guys are meeting Sunday at various spots then one final meet-up point on Boston Post Road. It’s the connector between I-95 and the Hutchinson River Parkway, and we meet in the Wendy’s parking lot probably no later than 9am. We’re still working out the exact times and plans so if interested post up, PM, or contact me so we can figure out exactly how many we’ve got.

With a large group we’ll most likely take 684 to 84 straight into Danbury. 684 is a big open 3-lane highway with little to no traffic on early Sunday mornings. Very few cops patrolling but since it is Super Sunday they may be tipped off to possible speed demons trying to break the sound barrier. So we’ll have to keep things under wraps probably but still a nice ride up in any case.

Here is the website and some pics from years past.
