polishing my bike ?

I recently (read yesterday) read a article about polishing the lips on your

rims if you have a ninja 250. The article was on the Ninja 250 Riders Club

Anyways, was wondering if it was possible to do this with any other parts

of the bike. Or is this something that is only good to try on the rims. And

also, why not do the entire rim instead of just the lip? Would this be

something that you could'nt do to the entire rim?

I think it's just the rims to give an accent (rather than the black on black of stock). You could do the whole wheels, but it might be a lot of work to keep shinny. People also do it to the gas filler ring and a few other places....

Too much work for the reward IMO but it does look nice.
