it's really different from the 1st one.
they compared canyon carving and track riding. they empasized the advantages and safety of "taking it to the track."
i better check out the california speedway. the host spent around $500 for the track use and 2k6 R6 rental. i don't wanna rent a bike so i wonder how much it'll cost w/o bike rental.

Track segments were kinda lame. They could have made it better in either of two directions: either get someone who knew what they were doing out there and just show him/her doing their stuff. Or, they could have showed the newb they had actually developing some skills, like before/after shots of cornering, etc. It ended up being too much "talking heads" back at the garages / pit.
My wife and I have debated taking a day of track riding school. But after watching this show, I didn't see a single thing that would help us make an informed decision.
The show is going to have to get into tips, techniques, practical stuff for better riding. A sustained display of squidliness is just plain ole booorrrrrrrring!! But tips, techniques, etc. start sounding like responsible ridership, which then misses the show's core viewership? I dunno...... don't think this one's going to last.

Personally I thought episode 2 was not as good as 1.
Not as much "close call" video footage. Though the main storyline was indeed better, some of the short interviews in 1 were better.

The Tivo/cable screwed up and recorded some lame Patrick Duffy hero show instead of Super Bikes. Sat down with my luch to watch some bikes running around and ended up with this other junk. I was ticked!
Is this rerun on Sunday? If so, which time?
