hey guys been checking the forums for a couple weeks now and im looking to purchase my first bike second hand , now heres my question what paper work am i looking for from this guy. im in texas so if the guys name is not on the title is that still ok or not? umm i cant think of anything else but if anyone knows what i need to be recieving help me out much appreciated , thanks

A better question would be "what is the punishment for buying stolen property?"

Look at the Texas DMV web site for what you need to bring with you to register your bike.

If they guy doesn't have a title he can transfer, it's probably stolen, and you're probably screwed.
