Map Case/Tank Bag on a Cruiser

Anyone have one? Any recommendations? I want someplace to put a map/small belongings/wallet/keys/etc.

fork bag/windshield bag. small and one can be had for around $20

Ah, now you are implying I have a windshield... It's in the plans but not in the budget right now. Guess I'll deal with stuff in my jeans until that happens.

a fork bag is pretty much the same thing, and would cost about the same. i assume you have forks

Joe Rocket Blaster Magnetic Tank bag. I had one that I used on my GS650GL, but I sold it when I got my KLR (didn't fit so nicely on the KLR tank)
very nice, easy to use expandable tank bag that comes with a see through rain cover so you can still see your map. Holds a remarkable amount of crap, and they are fairly inexpensive as well.
Ask Sevulturus how much he likes it (I sold the bag to him)

Actually, it's great, but I had to make fun of you a little.
Always make sure your tank is clean before you put it on though... I've got some small scratches from crap that got stuck between the tank n the bag.

Yeah, I've never had one, but I've heard from many that they get scratches in the tank.
