Any damage by taking baffles out?

I have an '01 Intruder 1500. I have recently changed out the stock pipes for the 2" Cobra drag pipes. I love having the loud rumbling while I am riding. So I am considering taking out the baffles.
Will this hurt the bike in any way? I know I may lose minimal power, and I am alright with that.

Gonna need to rejet.
It's going to hurt three things:
1) fuel effciency
2) your eardrums
3) public perception of bikers

If you find yourself somewhere where they enforce exhaust modification laws it'll get you a ticket.... and of course it'll help to convince more people that bikes are loud annoying nuisances that shouldn't be allowed... but it won't hurt the bike itself.

Although I did laugh at your replies quite a lot and re-read them for another good laugh.
whoserdaddy to the TMW community. You can see it's a lot of fun and (supposedly) very friendly as well.
To further answer your question taking the baffles out will alter the bike's engine back pressure as well, which isn't good for it long term.

you will get that rubling sound..although itll be more roaring then rumbling probably...

as long as you rejet you can take the baffles out. i did on my marauder and didnt notice much of a difference in HP but it WAS louder.
i think its a matter of opinion whether you will cause harm and i dont think so.
