So here I sit tonight all nervous because I start the MSF course tomorrow. I really have no idea what to expect. I have been riding my new bike for about a week and a half now so I am sure I will learn some things. But I just cant help bieng nervous about the driving part on Sunday. I can handle my bike fine but I dont know about another one. Does anybody know if they will let me use my bike for the driving part of the class?

over here, you can only use your bike for the BRC if it's 350cc or less. no chance i could have used my previous gixxer1000.
check your local policies.
i've been riding for a month and spending a lot of time here in the forums when i took the BRC so i didn't learn anything new. i was just there to get my license.
the MSF is fast paced but it's not hard at all. even those that don't have exp on my class did satisfactorily.

you're gonna use their 250 and YOU'RE GONNA LIKE IT.
seriously, you will handle the 250 fine. after a week and half it's not like anybody's a whiz kid on their own bike anyway.
just think what a joke you'd look like if you managed to put down your own bike in front of everyone at the brc.

Don't worry you'll do fine... It's simple. In my class only 1 lady failed... she was not mean to be on bikes, she was dropping it standing still constantly.

You'll be fine... I did fine and I had ZERO experience with bikes or shifting...so relax, enjoy it and let us know how it goes.

Looks like they'll be providing the bike in Pennsylvania:
http://www.pamsp.com/FAQ.aspx?ID=BRC#b13 You might want to read the whole FAQ there, looks like a lot of good info. If you can ride a bicycle, walk and chew gum at the same time, and follow simple directions you'll do fine. After all, I passed, and I'm the least coordinated person I've ever met!!

I can't ride a bicycle, walk, and chew gum at the same time... the gum gets in the derailers and my trick walking shoes slip off the pedals.... and I only have two feet and can't walk on my hands...
maybe I should reconsider this whole motorcycling thing.

According to my wife, I have trouble with the "follow simple directions" thing too......

Well I started today. They will not let me use my own bike. I will be using one of their 125cc's. There are a few people in my group that have never ridden a bike before. So I am feeling a little bit better. I could not be happier with my instructors. They took time to help people when they got lost or confused. I think it should be really easy.
