74 Honda cb360 has a good bit of rust. They are easy to remove of course. Anyone know how to bring these back to a decent finish short of sending them to get chromed? It's about the last rusty thing on my bike and I'm not sure the best way to get them looking good. Thanks in advance.

Flat black POR (paint over rust) paint?

I usually disassemble the shock, then put the spring in the sandblaster, and paint it. If you dont have access to a sandblaster, a wire wheel works good also. Wear safety glasses, those little wires go everywhere.

Thanks - I believe the wire wheel and paint option sounds like a winner. I'll give that a shot.

I have used steel wool on mine and it works like a charm. Havent had to repaint them yet, but did spray them with a sealer so they wouldnt keep rusting.
