i've seen plenty of races and speed channel with the litre bikes and 600cc classes and when they take turns they are pretty much laying down...do u have to lean alot or just a little bit goin around fairly sharp corners..(on and off ramps from highways...curvey roads in the country..etc..)...jw thanks

the faster you are, the more lean angle you must do.

so if you take a turn too hot... you must lean more or else you will run wide or go off road or hit whatever it is on the sides of the road.

of course, there's such a thing as taking a turn way too fast that there's no way to make it.

i think it isn't really the speed, it's more like "the more aggresive the turn, the more lean you will require"

You can do really low speed turns within small areas and get the bike leaned down real low so it scrapes the pegs as well or you could be doing a hundred kmph around a long sweeper and not be leaned much at all.

when i said "faster" ...it's relative to the turn.

so yeah, going 60mph on a 30mph PSL turn doesn't require as much lean as going 60mph in a 25mph PSL turn.

my aggresive statement refered to the rider and the turn itself, but i think we are talking about the same thing really.

Yeah I agree, it doesn't necessarily mean the speed, but how agressively you take the turn. I've scraped my foot pegs doing u-turns. This is very low speed turns, but I cut the turn very sharply and srrrrrccchhhhh
