ke 100

#1 Unread post by stevep »

I have thought about the logic getting a cheap bike for the first one vs. the scrambler. Not to mention I got a realistic idea that insurance aint quite as cheap as rumor has it.

So the bike question: KE 100 for a first bike? I am only going to use this bike for learning, commuting and country rides, no highway for now. Is a 100cc enough? 6"1' 200lbs.

I had a friend who's KE125 was good for 65-70 on the road and he wasn't a small lad.

I pay $480 a year for my 750cc VFR Interceptor. I'm thinking a 100cc will be plenty cheap.

Is the ke 100 even street legal?? It will probably get you up to about 50-60mph. I would recommend something a little bigger for street use.
