After finding a helmet i went to the desk to ask if someone could help me on buying this helmets and the guy just blew me off. I dunno how places liek this stay in business :?

My guess is that the owner wasn't around just then............. In fact the way to deal with that type of service is to call and talk to the owner and tell him about it........ and how impressed you were.

That kind of treatment is more the norm in retailing of all kinds here in the US. They figure if you're interested in something, you will look for help. Another example is the big-box store where big, palm-sized buttons are available to call for help in a given department. Push the button and nobody shows up. Ever.
The biggest Honda dealer in the state of Oregon lost 2 brand new bike sales to me just because they refused to come and talk to me. I probably didn't look young enough.

Wow. All the motorcycle stores I've been to were just falling over themselves to help me select a helmet or look at motorcycles. Guess that's why they continue to receive my business!

if funny you say honda because when i told my friend about this he said "must be a honda shop " which it was. the store in wyoming i went to greeded me at the door and even though i was jsut looking at the time if i had the money i would have bought that ninja 500. the one I was looking at was a HJC XXL. most of the HJC's were about $180 but this one was a lot cheaper an i think it was 86 something.

we have it both ways here you either get an eager salesman that knows what you are supposed to buy regardless of whether you want it or not or you are totally ignored.

i want to find a better helmet. if i must that $86.69 helmet fits, yet my chin rubs on it if i talk but i don't see me doing a lot of talking in it. i might go there again after my 2ed time being ignored to buy a cheapy but i'd rather goto a better dealer
