O.K., here's the deal.
I met an old dude at work about a month ago. Old? He's 76.... and still workin'

Fast forward to today. I bump into Old Fred again. He asks if I'm coming to his track this weekend. Sure, what's going on? I ask.
Seems the C.V.M.G.(but all bikes welcome) is having a
Vintage Ride-in/First-Run-On-The-Rebuilt-Track Day on Sunday. One member is bring a selection of track bikes, and I was promised a shot on the track on one of these bikes....

Which brings up the reason for this little ramble.... Old Fred is a nice old dude, but he has a reputation around town and the local racing associations as something of ...uummm, odd fellow. It's not all that far from Edmonton either, if any of the Capital Crew is interested. There will be some very cool old bikes there if nothing else, and I have a faint hope of lapping a flat tracker, so I'm going

If anyone else wants to check it out, let me know and we can see about getting something half organized to head out there.
