Where to ride year round?
Where to ride year round?
I'm in trouble! I'm 49 and just started riding. I am seriously hooked. So much so that I fear I may need to relocate in order to be able to ride year round.
I'm from the northeast USA, so I like hills and winding back roads as well as lots of green. Somewhere not too hot in summer or humid.
Suggestions?

I live in New Mexico, and it is nice here most of the time. Nothing crazy either way (cold or hot) well most of the time anyhow.
I don't think you should go to Europe, the bikes over there use liters of gas. There isn't any way I know of to convert an American bike into a Euro one.

Only California...
Oregon for instance, you -can- ride year round, if you don't mind the rain.
Arizona scorches you in the summer
Florida has frequent T-Storms
Northeast and midwest is too cold in the winter
Anywhere but southern California will get too hot, too cold, too wet...you can't beat a mediterranean climate to ride in...
Outside of the US, Spain, Southern Italy and Israel are not terrible bets, if you don't mind erratic driving from cages in all of the above....and occasional detonations in the latter...
