I don't think you can really wear tires that much in 2 weeks to cause the center to wear more than the outsides... I could be wrong though.

the other reason im worried about flat spots is because i encountered some empty freeways and did ridiculously stupid high speeds on 3 occasions over the 2 weeks.

it was fun each time, but then i realized today, i must have shortened my tire's life w/ those actions.

are flat spots very obvious?

i mean, im wondering if it's something like tire pressure in which you can't really feel it, you just have to use a gauge to be sure how much pressure there is.

anyway... i'll be happy if i get at least 3500-4000 miles w/ my tires.

Well, first we'd need a picture of your shaven head to see where you mom dropped you as a baby. Then we could tell you where the flatspots are.

JK man.

A flat spot is exactly what it sounds like. A flat spot on your tire. It happens when one part of the tire is touching the ground for an extremely long time. Usually happens when a bike is sitting in a garage or somewhere for months and hasn't been moved. Your worried about your tire becoming square instead of the normal round shape, so stop saying flat spot. I doubt your tires squared up much and don't worry so much.

the lowly scooter rider that you wont wave at either puts his scooter on the center stand or jacks it up so he can roll the tire and look for flat spots.but of course that is just scooter trash.i am sure that with your amazing modern miracle of engineering motorcycle such practices are considered fit only for bottom feeders.

chillax dood! that scooter post was a joke.

and like i said, im not sure if flat spots are obvious.

i gave the example of tire pressure... before on the 1K, i didn't check it, and when i did, i was shocked to see how low the pressure was. it didn't feel soft at all but the tire pressure was really low.

oh and im still waiting for my front and rear stands in the mail.
