Hi All,
My name is Gordon and i live in Scotland where we have some fantastic roads through some of the most picturesque glens, valleys, loch sides. It's just a shame the weather doesn't match the scenery.
Great site here, just got my first bike yesterday and decided to look up some of the forums for help and advice. This seems like the best i've found.
My first bike is an old Yamaha XJ 600, it's (hopefully) going to be the bike i make all my mistakes on before i progress to a bike that i actually want to ride.
I am loving every minute of my riding so far and think that this feeling will only ever be surpassed by my first passion which is R/C flying. I'm not gonna post a picture of my bike coz it's old and tatty, i will however, ramble on endlessly to anybody that's interested (and most that are not) about my 'real' hobby.
Here she is in all her glory, i just need to figure out how to transport the plane to the flying field on my bike and my sundays will be complete

But back to the biking which is what we're all here for, right??? I'm looking forward to lots and lots of miles of practice on my old heap of junk before i upgrade to a nice shiny new model.
Cheers all,
Zen
