Finding the right oil filter

Does anyone know of a place to look up oil filter numbers for motorcycles? I'd like to pick up my oil and filters at the local Autozone or Wal-Mart, but their books and directories only do cars.

Why not get the factory OEM filter? or look it up at K&N's website.

Because the Yamaha dealer is much farther away and the local stores don't sell K&N?
I suppose I could order some online or something, but I'd much prefer grabbing one off the shelf at a place I frequent already instead of making a special trip or something.

I've picked up a half dozen oil filters at Wal-mart (1/2 the cost of the bike shop) and they did have manuals that covered bikes in at least 3 stores. Keep looking around and if you can't find it, ask the manager where it is. If found the bike manual was a smaller one over by the bike filters.
