New Member - My First Bike
Hello! I just joined today.
I wanted to find a women's forum as I was getting a little tired of the other forums where some of the (young) men where just outright nasty and "know-it-all" attitude .
I have wanted to ride for as long as I can remember when I was a teenager riding pillon with my uncle and then riding with the b/f in my late teens early 20's. Then I met my "soul mate" and progressed to riding with him. After 5 years of dating and 4 years of marriage, I finally took the course this past March and bought my first bike after Easter. I love my blue '05 GS500F.

Hi Jackie, welcome to the forum.
One of the things that attracked me to this forum was the Ladies Lounge. There are alot of women riders here all with diffrent types of bikes, and experience levels...plenty to relate to. There are also a couple of Blogs that are kept by Lady Riders.
