rear tire sliding?

my rear tire slid on me again...

i was taking a left hander coming from a right hander... then as i lean to the left, my rear tire slid... it's not my throttle control, i was just on maintenance throttle since these are consecutive short tight turns.

am i sliding it bec shifted the lean too fast from right to left?

im not riding the line when it slid. so i know it's not bec of the slippery line. the path is dry and i didn't see any gravel.

my rear tire has been sliding on me several times this past few days but so far, it's been manageable but i wanna figure out what causes it.

any ideas what causes it?

Well, it COULD mean you're doing things right... if you're going fast enough.

Mine slides out a fair bit too. Usually when I am exiting a turn and just getting on the throttle... I always thought it took much more effort to break it loose than that.

I'm not worried though, I just think of that scene in Terminator where Arnold is leaving the biker bar on the Fat Boy that he just "borrowed" from someone. Power slide = badass. Or at least that's what I tell myself.

well yeah i wanna slide the rear.

i just don't want it to happen unless it's intentional.

Well all you have to do is whenever it happens... look around and go "I meant to do that!"

did you look to see if there might have been gravel in the turn.

I have yet to slide the tire out on the bandit. It happened a few times on my old CX500 with its craptastic tires.
