Annoying commercial

#1 Unread post by CNF2002 »

There's a commercial on web radio that annoys me. Ever heard it? Its a Scion commercial, and this guy is talking about customizing his Scion with factory options (LEDs on his shifter and junk), then talks about how many comments he gets about his car, and immediately corrects that he does it for himself, not anyone else. It just brings to mind all these kids with tripped out cars that all claim to be doing it for themselves, but in reality only care what others think looks cool.

I dont know why this commercial gets under my skin :)

The Mazda commercial pisses me off. It's the one where there's a segment with van or something riding up to the motorcyclists rear end and then passing ever so quickly. Then there's the tuner cars like the new Civic Si. Sweet car but many kids who buy these things don't respect rules of the road.

Meanwhile Honda motorcycle commercials have the guy just doing a track ride and no street shots (except the VTX one).
One thing you can count on: You push a man too far, and sooner or later he'll start pushing back.

Hmm I never noticed the content of the Mazda commercials. I was burying my head because of the zoom-zoom song!

Thats good...for some reason that kid in the suit reminded me of a young version of the caretaker from Phantasm.
