Just wanted to say Hi. Live just north of Toronto, Canada. My parents have had bikes all my life and at the age of 29 I have decided to pick it up! So of course the bike I pick out is a Suzuki Boulevard C90SE at 1492cc. I knew it was big..but figured I would grow into it. Well after reading some of your posts for new bikers...I have changed my mind...slightly.
I got my learner's permit. I am taking the basic biker's course next week which will allow me to learn on a 250cc bike. I will then pick up a Suzuki Boulevard C50SE at 800cc. Not the smallest bike...but have read great posts from first timer riders who found the c50 good to learn on.
Look forward to more reading and posting.

Welcome to the board. Good luck with your "Gearing Up" course. Which college are you doing this at?ilyo wrote:Just wanted to say Hi. Live just north of Toronto, Canada. Pay attention to your instructos. Don't look at the test as a test. Rather look at it as the final excerise of the program. If you have paid attention to what your instructors have taught. You will have no problems.
Where bouts in the GTA are you? I am east in Bowmanville. Maybe we will cross paths along the road someday.
Not to take you away from this board. However there is also a GTA specific board at there. You can find it at www.gtamotorcycle.com
Cheers!
