Why do you feel the need to post about yourself in EVERY thread?

And on top of that, you of all people calling someone out on looking at upgrading a bike when you yourself seem to drool over anything with clipons and 2 wheels..

And back on subject, I sat on one of these at the BMW/Triumph dealership the other day. It fit me very nicely and seemed very well made. Only complaint was the price tag...ouch!

Although this is just a naked sportbike. Although I think you're just referring to the "if I could get a 2nd bike" part.

Anyways, it is a very nice bike. I've seen one several times at the local BMW/Duc/Triumph shop (along with the 999R Xerox that keeps catching my eye).

Kinda stoked about that too, next year they're releasing a 999S Parts Unlimited bike (which is ok) with a retail of $19K! Ohilns/Brembo'd up, 143 hp, etc.

ha!

yea, ive only had the fj a few months, but I really do want something that isnt so old it could vote. Plus, the FJ is going to be on the west coast for awhile, so i need something for home. I'm going to fly out and basically use it to tour around out there, and I probably wont have it home until next spring/summer or until it dies.

So I'll probably be buying something here before too long.

the bike above would be awesome, but im not sure ill be ok with the pricetag. We'll have to see.

Also are my list are slightly older BMW K series touring bikes. I want something that can be good for touring, but that isnt a tank around town. And after this trip, I think something shaft driven will be one of my prioroties as well.

ive thought about a vstrom many times. sat on them at the dealership. I still may get one, but im still not 100% on the looks of it.
I know if i got one it would have to be the 1000.

My coworker has one and loves it. He has nothing but good things to say about it.

Edited to clarify: My coworker has the BMW, not the vstrom.

Vstrom looks good to me. Only thing I don't like about it is the nose.
